The Orange County, New York feed is broadcasted live from the Orange County Training Center in New Hampton, NY
 
The feed streams the main fire dispatch channels and fire ground channels 24 hours a day.

Orange County Fire Training Center

 

James McCann, Manager/Training Coordinator

The Orange County Fire Training Center opened in October of 1991. The facility consists of an administration building which houses offices of the Fire Coordinator, Fire Investigation Unit, Hazardous Materials Response Team, Emergency Medical Services Coordinator in addition to class rooms and administrative space for Fire Training.

The outside evolution area consists of a three story burn building, five story high-rise building, SCBA Maze Building, Railroad Tank Car, Flammable/Hazardous Liquid Trailer, Industrial Hazardous Material Storage Tank, Drafting Pond and several concrete pads where evolutions such as vehicle extrication, Haz-Mat, etc. can be staged.

The class rooms and outside evolution areas are used by Fire, Police (State, Sheriff & Local) and EMS personnel to conduct training. In addition, all county government agencies use the facility to conduct in-service training such as fire extinguisher training, confined space safety, emergency vehicle operation, defensive driving, first aid, safety awareness classes, etc.
